MPDCenter doesn't catch this, probably because it doesn't have a database of valid set names.
As for the A, B, C pattern, I think your scheme is perfectly logical, and OMR guidelines leave the sub-model name up to the author's discretion. (It does suggest that the name be descriptive of the model, but since these are all just different street sweepers…)
So the only other question, really, is whether the OMR desires to have back-of-the-box builds included, but there's certainly no harm in posting them and this is the forum to do it!
Thanks! I am getting the hang of the MPD Center and OMR-ization now. I uploaded the files according to the naming you suggested. There is new "D Model" below. I replaced "street sweeper" with "bulldozer" for the D model, but somehow it didn't feel right. I left the original set name for now.
