Now I owe you some measurements...

Yes please... most things can be derived from scans, except for depth values.
- depth of recessed entry of axle holes in beams and bricks? Does a Duplo stud fit there?
- Bricks are made from two halves. Are the side holes molded on lower or upper half? Or one half on each part? (don't think so, I would see a line)

1. no, not to bricks. Duplo stud does not fit there. They fit only into yellow beams entry of axle holes.
2. only bricks with holes are made of two halves. 
it is difficult to answer how they are molded. You don't see any edge inside holes... I think they are tubes as part of one of the side...
