Why not use the waffle plates? We do have them.

Hmm, I checked different sites:
Peeron: no detailed Inventory
Bricklink: Waffles
Rebrickable: Standard
Brickowl: Standard

I think it doesnt really matter which version is used.

I think it doesnt really matter which version is used.

Both versions were being made in the early 70s, especially for Samsonite sets (as this was), and so a set like this may have contained either, or both. But, Gary's guide specifically mentions the gray 4x8 being produced in waffle bottom for this set and one other (157).

So on one hand, it might be neat to reflect this in the OMR version. On the other, it does seem true that either version could have appeared in the set, in which case it wouldn't be an error to omit it. Smile

(And interested users can always just tack an 'a' on the end of the part number if they want to.)
