I do know how to extract parts from sets, but I also noticed some CMF part say that the original part shape is from LEGO Instructions App with the most recent example being the snowman mask from series 23 but the builder app doesn't even have a pdf let alone a 3d model for minifigure series. So I figured there must be some other way to get them if so i would like to know how

For whatever reason, the site domain "ldraw.org" is not working for me. Obviously, the sub-domain for these forums is working, just not the "parent" domain... 

Any ideas?

first post here. Thanks for all the great efforts you put into the LDraw library. This is just amazing!

My name is Gabriel Läufer. I've been following (and using) LDRAW for a couple of years. To contribute a little back, I decided to help with authoring of parts. I will start with submitting rather simple stickers designs and move then to more complex geometries and parts.

Hopefully I will be a valuable member of the LDRAW community in the future.

Behinds the scene these 2 page pairs are the same. They use the same code and just tailor the output based on whether a part/part list is official or not.

I've like to merge these URL pairs into:
https://library.ldraw.org/parts/list
and
https://library.ldraw.org/parts/<part id number>

Additionally,
Part Search will be merged into Part List.

In fact, most of the /tracker URLs will be come /parts URLs (with redirects of course).

Thoughts?

The current file direct access URLs will remain unchanged:

There is an open question on how to handle these.

"Triangle Ruler" brick (from 852690 and 852759 sets) dimensions are constrained with bricks dimensions.

1. Grey Bricks defines boundary of the part;
   
2. Yellow Bricks defines the part shape (but not the thickness of the Triangle Ruler).
   
3. Grey Axles defines location of half-thickness slots (slots are a bit wider than axles diameter);
   
4. Large Beam defines angled side/slope of triangle and the end of the slot for beam parts measuring;
   
5. Small Beam used to check cut ontop of triangle (see reference photos);
   
6. Round Tile defines the centre of round hole, but not the diameter.

I've got an 18 kb MPD file that LPub refuses to open. Whenever I try to open the file in LPub, the application just spins its wheels for a few seconds, and then closes, without any kind of error message. 

This same file works perfectly fine in LDView, FWIW...
