Could you please have a look at part no. 6233 'Rocket Step 3X3X2 w. Cross' as it is lacking details at the connecting side (lower ring) that is visible when rendering it?
Stuff like this happens when prims meet non-prims without fillers...
(but its a quite old part, can happen)
that part also has some other things that could get reworked like overlapping rings/cones.
the details also could get subfiled in an eighth.
It should be possible to use prims for the bottom rim, no?
Which brings up the question, is there need for a type of primitive that can be used for curved segments like this that aren't complete circles, or even divisions of a circle?
If I would have to rework this, i would use 1-16 prims for the bottom...
leave the outer cone (as 1 16 0 40 0 10 0 0 0 -40 0 0 0 10 4-4con2.dat) and the axle+stud prims in the main file
and put everything else in an eigth subfile (split the inner cone, use some prims for the bottom rim)
