Cannot show swimming cap in studio 2.0

Cannot show swimming cap in studio 2.0
#1
Hi all,

I want to add swimming cap in studio 2.0. I can find this part number (#99241)

C:\Program Files\Studio 2.0\ldraw\UnOfficial\parts

However, it cannot be find in the studio (Main Parts).

Anyone can teach me how to access the unofficial parts.

Thanks Smile

looks like this part also doesnt exist in LDraw...

but it exists here:
http://www.digital-bricks.de/de/index.ph...ddp&mg=244
scroll all down, find it and click .dat at that row...

Then (install if nor already done) open Studios PartDesigner, import that part, switch to "Connectivity" and add a bottom connectivity where the head should connect.

Switch back to normal mode and press "Export to Studio". Then open that and where the "Main" tab is should be a "Custom" selection, where it should be.

Edit: added the part from there, isnt compliant with our rules but will work...

By the way, if you want to manually add files, you need the other directory. It is in Studio folder in %localappdata% and is called "CustomParts". It follows the same file structure as any other Studio part library with "parts", "connectivity", "p", "collider" and "parts\s" folders

it looks like you have found the part in the unofficial parts folder, but Studio 2.0 may not automatically recognize it in the main parts list. To access unofficial parts, you may need to manually add them to the Studio interface. First, ensure the path where the part is located is properly configured in Studio's settings. Go to File > Preferences > File Paths, and make sure the path to the unofficial parts directory (C:\Program Files\Studio 2.0\ldraw\UnOfficial\parts) is listed there. After this, restart Studio 2.0, and the part should appear in the parts palette. If this doesn’t work, you may want to check if the part is in a supported format or try importing it manually using the 'Import' function.
