LDraw.org 2024-09 Parts Update Now Available

The 2024-09 LDraw Parts Update has been released. This update adds 593 new files to the core library, including 405 new parts and 15 new primitives.

Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit. This update wouldn't have been possible without their dedication and attention to detail.

This update starts our roll out of full minifig torso shortcuts.

I am missing parts/2393.dat in Complete LDraw.org Library Windows installer (LDrawParts.exe).

Seems that maybe all new parts are missing in this LDrawParts.exe, because all my parts have date 30.09.2024 after I install the LDrawParts.exe. 

Both Zip archive of the updated files (2409.zip) and Complete LDraw.org Library Zip archive (complete.zip) seem to up to date.

This is a distinct possibility. The creating the installer is the only that has to happen manually and I have a bunch of random complete.zip file lying around on my computer so I may have accidentally used the wrong zip file.

Minor bug report (probably for the release scripts):
The file LDCfgalt.ldr (updated 2024-09-29)
is contained only in complete.zip but not in lcad2409.zip.

I might me overlooking something here, maybe the file version 2024-09-29 was delivered in a previous incr update,
and I missed it. If so, in which one?

This went out in 2024-08.

Just a small drive-by bug report:

p/8/2-4stud4.dat references 8/2-4ring3.dat which does not exist
