Hey, i have created a 3D model of the 93592, only i don't have the part physically so i used the 8x8 dome as a starting point.
PM me if anyone needs it.
I am new to this community so i don't know yet how to contribute.

Hello,

new part authors are always welcome!

To become an author, who is able to submit parts on the tracker, you need to send a mail to the admin, parts (at) ldraw.org.

It is a good idea to take an existing part and work from there to create a new one, as you get a feeling for the use of primitives already.

From what I see, you do not have edge lines where the sphere meets the hinge part.

another good starting point are the raw file from the instructiosn app, this part is available form there, with the sphere in a bad quality, but good details on the attachmend  at the hinges. The problem with this part is the height, which is more than 4 bricks (96 LDU) it is 4 bricks and a plate (104 LDU) lacking also the real part, it is difficult to judge what is right.

I am attaching the raw part here so you can see the moulding at the hinges.

feel free to upload here to give it a quick look.

Gerald

Oh cool, i'm new to the LDraw environment (didn't know parts exist in the instructions app but not in the ldraw library, whatever this is, too :-) )

I have created the main object in my CAD system and then just quickly added the hinges in Studio's Parts Designer.
I'll attach the obj file if you wanna take a look at it.
