The rubber die

The rubber die

Why is the rubber die missing colour?
Part 64776 is "Die 6 Sided 2 x 2 x 2 with Rubber Black Frame" but it is missing all colours.

We had a Physical coloured shortcut adding both Rubber_Black and Red, and it is now obsoleted.

If we add colour in 64776 shouldn't it be 64776p01?

The die should actually be two parts, the outer rubber and the core. I cut one apart last week to redo it.

The geometry of the rubber part is also not ok, currently it is the same width along the complete length of the edge, whereas the real part is a bit thicker in the middle.

Agree with the numbering, but wouldn't it be a composite part? i.e. c01 (black) and c02 (gold)

I found this issue while reviewing these parts:
https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...367p01.dat
https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...367p02.dat

They use p01 and p02 , and there is no completly uncoloured base part.

You are right, those parts cannot be disassembled without destroying them, so the die should use it as well
