Hi everyone
After making my first experience with designing the door mechanism (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxlyYJTapKQ) I had the idea to design a compressor and it came in my mind to try a variable displacement compressor. The model is finished and all animations are scripted. It took a while to complete it and a lot of paper to find and solve the trigonometric equations needed for the animations. So I just didn't want to present everything right away. Instead I want to show a short preview video.
And voilà, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfGCAZ8hAE4
If you like the preview and like to see the final video, please subscribe to my channel. I will go on finishing the final video with animated functions.
Remark: I was quite happy with POV for my door model but for this preview I had to deal with scattering and this consumed a lot of rendering time. Indeed it took a few days to render the 900 frames for this video. So, the final video will not have scattering
