A summation of bug reports and feature requests.
Please do not reply to this topic with suggestions. Instead post them as a separate topic.

Bugs:

None (yet)

Todo:
  • Site Icons for titles and groups
  • Thread prefixes (i.e. Solved or LDView)
  • Update Hybrid-Thread view into its own option instead of replacing the linear view (Will not be implemented)

Refreshing the weekly search results page doesn't reset the search if showing posts vice threads. This is not fixable without rewriting the entire search routine in the form of a plugin. Searches are cached and tied to your session is as a "security" measure.

Maybe something should be done about the automatic quoting of "Reply". People tend to forget to prune the quote, resulting into pages and pages of old quotation. Quote a little for clarity is good, quote everything does the contrary!

And/or something could be done about making the pruning easier. It can be really hard to excise the part you don't want to quote without access to the underlying BB code.
Alternatively the quote function could be set to only quote the very last message instead of every previous message in the discussion thread

A solution would be that the reply option doesn't just simply copy the whole post, but removes all existing quotes. So, when you click reply it would only reply to the actual text/new post.

I agree that the absurd long quote posts make it all kinda hard to read.
