It might be better to post this in the open official standards and file specifications forum so everybody can post.

Also I'm interested in what Ben Supnik is brewing up for bricksmith as he indicated it will be inspired by all existing formats, and he's not a LSB member currently.

I have dropped him 2 mails over the last week but have got no reply so far. Looks like you'll have to start without his expertise.
