Already changed in V3.
What I would ideally like to see is the same basic format used for XML representations of the parts, with additional details added as necessary. Right now Mike and I seem to be using the same (or equivalent) representations. Once a de facto standard is in place we could look at officialising it, thus reducing the coding workload of future programs.
