Hi Michael,

What format(s) of code would be most useful for integrating such a thing into the existing tool chain?

- Cross-platform? Mac, Windows, Linux? Std-C? Command line?
- A standalone tool that can be run by a script?
- C or C++ or some other language?

Is there already code out there that is (1) cross-platform, (2) suitable for batch processing and does either LDraw round-trip file parsing and/or geometric analysis?

EDIT: can you point me to some kind of project page for LDTools? Are they source available and/or is the API documented?
