subfiles in MPD files

Special characters, such as &, #, |, and ?, should be avoided as they may also cause cross-platform issues and create problems when used in URLs.

I have read this as 'it is allowed' because it is not 'forbidden' - translation error ?

On the other hand this delimiter "&&" is only used inside an MPD file. So I do not expect problems with URLs. On Windows and Linux machines this does not break any filename.

Is there anything that I should have been aware of additional to the above mentioned?

I am not limited to this delimiter, but it seemed reasonably to me.
