Thanks Gabriel for the explanation!

I was looking a bit more into groups 2 & 3 as they seem to be the primary groups for stud based parts.
I noticed a few things when messing around with a .part file.

For lateral sizes ( Seventh block ) of groups 2 & 3. It appears as Z length then X length of the part and is measured in half stud units.
It only matters if the following 'Eighth Block' correctly matches in dimensions. Being a two-dimensional array of [Z+1][X+1]

I was looking a bit more into what the numerical values in the 2d array representation could be, but was unable to find anything or recognize any patterns.
If anyone has found anything regarding what they could be please let me know.

I'm also working on getting each *.conn file converted to its *.part file representation and into a zip file. I hope to be able to get that sent out to whoever may find it of interest.
