Eye candy is a good thing - if it is possible to deselect with speed to gain.

Not really when it comes to L3Lab, and probably not with LDView either(?) I know L3Lab only uses CPU power, and I don't know about LDView, but I think it's the same thing there. No 3D acceleration from the VGA card.
