The adventures of building a web renderer

RE: The adventures of building a web renderer
#43
The work on these online rendering tools continue. It is clear to me that I do not give enough visibility as most requests come in through emails and Github issues.

I will try to keep you all updated on progress by writing in this thread.

Currently being worked on

1) Thick lines: This should sole rendering issues on several screen types, but might cost on rendering performance.

2) Animations: Support of animations will allow for nice transitions between steps, as well as opening up for play features in the future.

Prioritised Backlog

3) Github issues: Link to Github issues list

4) Minifig Generator (online version of the beloved tool)

5) Scenes: Have default scenes for displaying loaded models similarly to old school LEGO box art

6) X-ray feature showing mechanical parts as cutouts

7) SNOT heat map: Another feature showing the complexity of LEGO models

Please tell me if you have things to add to the list, or if you disagree with the prioritisation.
