After a little help with part 67095 (Round Tile 3x3). I'm trying to create a pattern for it using LDPC and have attempted to create a template for it using LDPE.
The problem is that there seem to be multiple "top faces" mixed from the 67095.dat file and the various subparts. additionally deleting the top face also deletes the inner faces too.
Any help working out the mix of shapes and sub shapes appreciated.
Cheers
Inlinig the tile 67095 you will see that it consists of the subfile without the top:
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\67095s01.dat
and the surface:
1 16 0 0 0 30 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 30 48\4-4aring.dat
1 16 0 0 0 30 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 30 4-4disc.dat
To create a template (in LDPE) do the following
- Remove the subfile
- Remove the a-ring
- Inline the 4-4disc.dat
- save this as 67096_template.dat
Open LDPC
- Import DAT -> "+Y on top" -> "Overwrite and import Projection Data"
- then create the template
- File -> "Projection Data -> Template" this will create a new Entry in the Template selection
- File -> "Load Template" -> "Edit/Delete"
- Scroll down until you see "_New_Template_1" or so, this is your file
- Select it and CLick Edit
- Rename it to 67095
- in the additional line field you can add the subfile and the adaptor ring
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\67095s01.dat
1 16 0 0 0 30 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 30 48\4-4aring.dat
-Click OK and you are done
As this is a flat file the helper lines to 0/0 are not necessary, I handle this in a seperate post.
