Ah, yes, now I understood, a picture is worth a thousand words :-)
This is in my opinion a molding artifact. The hollow stud is terminated with a smaller hole (smaller than 4 LDU) and this extends a bit further into the part and interestingly around the corner. I guess as the plastic cooled down this was pulled "inside" I should have another one as well to verify how this looks in different parts.
So no, it is not a ridge, the part is as the LDD data shows, a normal bar diameter.
