Is there going on some work in the background I'm not aware of? Could you please update us on the progress?

So basically I think Rebrickable has done this work for us already. The added bonus is that they also have a easily usable API as well. Therefore, I don’t think we need to do anything except work with them by finding errors and reporting them via their mechanism for doing so.
