The print on a sticker is supposed to be placed 0.25 ldu above the part surface, and a backside need to be created "behind" the printed surface.
If the pattern is simply projected on to a curved surface and then lifted 0.25 ldu to add the backside of the sticker, the top surface wont be correct.
It is both. If you have a sticker that is 0.25 LDU tall (or 0.5 LDU like this) then both the print part, back side and sides get projected as seen here.
It does, however, only make a single-direction projection. This causes the 90 degree angles of the to be affected by the curvature they are projected onto. This is something I want to be able to fix, but that requires that the program is able to detect that a sticker is being projected.
