I manually create the folders and put the files in. But apparently not in the right folder.
Since my Mac is localized as a Dutch machnine, I thought the "/Users/jaco/Library/" part would translate to "Gebruikers/jaco/Bibliotheek".
Somehow, I still was able to find /Users/jaco/Library/Application Support/LPub3D Software/LPub3D/libraries
There were no files titleAnnotations.lst and pliSubstituteParts.lst in the LPub3D package, so I copied them from my Windows installation.
I also missed the freeformAnnotations.lst.
So, still I am unsure how I did it, but it seems LPub3D can fine the .lst files now.
Now for the settings: they are not kept.
Rendering a model works fine now. But every time I have to look for LDView...
