Very nice model.

Note that it is not very difficult to tweak LDCad templates to use the elements you like (and I agree, LS60 is great).

Using this skin meta instead of the one in the rope LQ template, should be very similar.

maybe just needs some tweaks on the segSize (controls overlap) property.
