I don't think we need to go this far. We can get orientation and offset of the new part relative to one of the reference parts in both systems, then solve the system (ldraw transformation)=(ldd transformation)x(ldd2ldraw transformation) to derive ldd2ldraw transformation

Now I agree that it is far from obvious, but I believe it can be done...
