It's been a few years since I've done Java, but I prefer it to C++.
Do you know if there's a Python editor anyone has written? Maybe using PyQt or something? I'm more comfortable in Python that either of those two.
I'd like to actually attempt a web-based CAD program (JS is my strongest language)... someday. I'm not sure what kind of graphics technologies I'd have to work with, because I'm generally inexperienced in that space.
My main issue with Bricksmith was having to change the perspective to move. I found this too difficult, and am using LeoCAD now instead.
Unfortunately, I'm much too busy with my own projects to devote time for actual code to anything... my contributions to any project would be of the "fix the build" or "reformat the code" variety.
