Do we need another LDraw building program?

I love diversity. Every attempt to build something from scratch will introduce new ideas... even if it could be hard to match LDCad ( :-) ), it is always possible that ldcad will add new features inspired by another CAD.

At least it works for me: I check other viewers/animators to find out better ways of doing something.

I have tried 30056 model at my viewer (you can check it here). It seems to work perfectly. Good work
