looking for the complete zip download

looking for the complete zip download
#1
hi guys,

i'm looking for the complete zip download of both official and unofficial parts,  I want as much data as possible

i've found both
complete.zip - official
ldrawunf.zip  - unofficial?

am i missing anything?

there's about 654 files within ldrawunf.zip that also exists within complete.zip,  can i merge both safely?
i'd assume the overlap are unofficial parts which require official parts?

skimming the ~300 combined stickers i can't help but feel im missing some large repo... BrickLink lists nearly ~5,000 sheets

Complete and ldrawunf will give you everything.

I'm curious about this statement:

There is no ldrawunf.zip inside the complete.zip.

Also, it's is not recommend that you merge the official and unofficial libraries.

I'm confused in your confusion... I'd like a single repo of *all* files here,  even if that means some are broken.
I'm working on a LEGO game, and just want the full set of things available.

Merging the contents of both zip's together to achieve said goal results in ~657 files identically named,
I'm guessing this is due to things like unofficial parts requiring some official primitives?

Why would merging both be a bad idea?

to add:  *apart from the files being mingled making updating challenging

It's not recommended for a number of reasons:
- Unofficial parts can and do change before they are added to the official library. Sometime in breaking ways like origin shifts, changes in geometry, etc
- There are also fixes to official parts (as you noticed). While merging these is probably ok, sometimes there are effects that we haven't caught yet (hinge why they are go through review) that may break things.

The complete.zip is updated with every official release, i.e. monthly.

The ldrawunf.zip is a living thing. As it is built at a higher frequency. And people add/modify/correct parts on a daily basis.

Hope the helps
