"Automatic" upload of some raw parts

I would like to share an idea I had concerning the availability of the Minifig Headdresses/Hair/etc.

Those parts are available as raw meshes with a correct origin and orientation. There is a frequent release of such parts by TLG, however getting them on the Parts Tracker is done sporadically.

Therefore I would suggest the following:

• Upload these parts (Hair/Hats/Masks) as raw meshes
  
• Use a special Uuser to do this (e.g. PT-Bot) respectively do a proxy upload
  
• These parts are free for everybody to pick up and clean them, and re-upload them with their authorship
  
• The parts can be on-hold, respectivly may not be released before they are cleaned and have a human author.
  

This would extend the availabilty of some speacil pieces and minifig related stuff 

For the 2026-01 Parts Release by TLG, this would currently make 23 parts available, e.g. CMF Headdresses and Ninjago Stuff

I like the idea, since it will make them available to more people and its easily searchable.

Plus there are regular requests for CMF and Ninjago stuff so even if they aren't complete people can still make use of them without it breaking anything when the finished version is uploaded since they already have the correct orientation etc.

While I've had a similar idea in the past:

- I have some very real concerns about file bloat. What I don't want is yet more files that languish on the tracker for years and don't get touched.

- I don't want a subclass of parts that don't have to follow the rules.  Therefore, any parts that get submitted to the Tracker must pass all the current submit checks.

- I'm not a big fan of the "automated user" since it has implications for copyright and therefore the part license.  I phased out the usage of Ptadmin for the same reason.
