View LDraw files in-browser?

What would be required in order to view LDraw files (or at least .dat) in-browser—for example, when they are attached to forum posts—in the same way that's already possible with tracker files?

I assume this would be browser-specific and probably depend on browser extensions. Or maybe it would be more like having a "sandbox" feature on this website, for sharing and viewing LDraw files without the need to download?

I'm not writing an extension for the forum. I have too many things to do and I starting to think that our time on this particular forum software is numbered.
