Part 11090 hole depth variant

Part 11090 hole depth variant

The 11090 in BI has a longer interior bar hole than the current 11090 part on the tracker and there does seem to be a newer version of the part as mentioned in this reddit post to confirm there needs to be a variant made.

There is something indeed... Here is a comparison of the various mesh revisions used in building instructions (placed in sequence a..h). The weirdest is the shallower hole in revision f...??

Do we know what date they swapped over or are they still using version F in more modern sets too?

No information about dates, it would necessitate to explore a lot of sets, which is tedious at best...

But we need a version this that small pinhole, since it is a usable connection point.

RB:
Mold version11090 has a hole large enough to fit the pin on accessory parts (eg. plume/flame/feather part 64647). The hole in the later version 44873 is too small.

The hole is large enough but I’m not sure it’s an intended connection (proof being it’s not in the other moulds).

So far it looks like Some time between July - September 2020 was when some type of variant of B - D was first used (can't tell which of those ones it is) Since before that point none of the 11090 parts in the instructions have the circular hole below the claw. I have only checked the black colour though which is the most common I guess its possible it was used earlier in other colours.
