Stickers from 6000 - LEGO Idea Book

Stickers from 6000 - LEGO Idea Book
#1
Hi,

I uploaded hi-res scans (1200 dpi) of the 6000 - LEGO Idea Book sticker sheets to my webspace:

www.holly-wood.it/tmp/6000 - Lego Idea Book - Stickers.zip

Since there is no sticker sheet number my question is:

Shall we number them sNNa.dat ... aNNBU.dat or sNN ... sNN?

I have no idea about the numbers, but I wonder if there is a difference between L and AG?

The part number spec say
sN, sNN or sNNN,  sNNNN       Sticker of unknown LEGO number

In the library we already have:

s12a.dat
s12b.dat
s12c.dat
s12d.dat, from the same set.

s13a.dat

s14a.dat

s14e.dat

It looks like you have already made s14e.dat, from that set book 6000.  But s14a.dat isn't.
Maybe you should pick a new number and then we could move s14e or even obsolete it?

I think you should use sNNX (where X is a-z and then aa, ab, ac, ) like we do on stickers with a known sheetnumber.
I think the next number to use is 22.

Some of these stickers are the same or very similar to existing ones.

Examples (I'm sure there are more):
Y -> https://www.ldraw.org/parts/official-par...id=004631c
BD -> https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.c...92895d.dat

??? Don't have the slightest memory I authored this part but the header contradicts me. Guess its a some sort of collateral damage while I fixed a hold part. Obsoleting it would be best.

They look indeed the same. Will rearrange the numbers.

Hello all,

I have been working on recreating all the scenes from ideas books 7777, and 6000 and while looking for the missing stickers, I bumped into this thread.

I have pretty much finished all the scenes from 7777 and have just started on 6000, but I noticed that many of the stickers aren't available (or are available on the wrong brick or, as a print). I used search terms such as 6000, ideas book, chalk board, supermarket, hairdresser... but couldn't find them in the database. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If not, I would be incredibly grateful if someone could please make them all as stand alone stickers so the scenes can be completed. There is no rush as it will still take me a while to finish all the models.
Once the scene files for 7777 and 6000 are complete I will of course post them in the official models thread. Smile

There are good sources for these builds online (www.12v-grey.com, https://cubic.org, https://www.backoftheboxbuilds.com/) but I noticed that many models were not available and several were incorrect. The latter is something one often doesn't notice until one tries to recreate the actual scene.

To give an impression, I have posted a few renders below (unfortunately the quality is set extremely low to get them under 500KB).

Recreating these scenes was fascinating, as it gives an idea of how everything was put in scene, and what the it might actually have looked like in the real world. For the 7777 cover image, the yellow shed actually folds back perfectly to meet up with the track next to the refinery, which I had not realized until now.

Unfortunately I have not found a good way to recreate the backgrounds yet, so I am open to any suggestions.  Blush

Thanks in advance!

Ok, since this thread is back anyways:

170048 is the print number of the entire book - maybe this was intended for the sticker sheet as well? Or at least some number we could use?

I started working on these a while ago, but never came far due to the numbering issue:

.dat   u6000a.dat (Size: 4.29 KB / Downloads: 0)

.dat   973d0i.dat (Size: 520 bytes / Downloads: 0)

170048 is a good number for this.

And duplicate stickers can be aliased to this sheet.
