Changes related to previous 2.0.016 version Wrote::: Can change layout orientation for selected pages in one time
:: Can remove empty|blank pages automatically
:: Can expand only children of selected node in tree view
:: Change tool bar icon size to 18 pixels
:: Re-grouped tool bar actions
:: Lock icon use SmoothTransformation and ItemIgnoresTransformations flags now
:: Layout orientation actually remember in undo stack
:: For more look into changelog.txt

Usage of this version of build.py - windows|OSX only:
On windows use now PYTHONHOME environment variable, and probably you can build this with command line outside Eclipse.
In example put as value 'C:\Python 27' for %PYTHONHOME%.
In next download and install Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler for Python 2.7
Install Python 2.7.8 and dependencies:
  • setuptools-18.3.1
  • pyinstaller-2.1
  • PIL-1.1.7.win32-py2.7
  • PyOpenGL-3.1.0.win32
  • PyQt4-4.10-gpl-Py2.7-Qt4.8.4-x32
  • pywin32-219.win32-py2.7
and run build.py. Any response is welcome.

I need some from this forum with more that basic knowledge about LINUX operating system who test his just run LIC.py and return result.

Hi, thanks for your sharing. When I used it, I found that part color can not be changed in this version! The "change part" panel did not show up at all.
Can this problem be fixed? thx!

Furthermore, when I used "Auto Layout" function, the layout will be changed into vertical layout while my original setting is horizontal.

Hi !

Million thanks for this wonderful tool!

I can't get POV-Ray Export to work - here it crashes immediately :-(

Under Windows 7 Pro 64bits, French.

I defined the paths as:
LDraw - C:\Users\Public\Documents\LDraw
L3P - none
POVRay - C:\Program Files\POV-Ray\v3.7\bin
(note, Program Files, as it's 64 bits)

POV-Ray is installed (v3.7) and well working, I'm using it with LDD to POV-Ray Converter for example.

The exe are all here in the above bin folder :
pvengine.exe
pvengine32-sse2.exe
pvengine64.exe

Everything else works well, like MLCad, LDD, LView, LPub and LPub 3D...

I like how LICreator works and makes Steps easily.

I would be *very* happy to be able to Export in any way over the basic 72 DPI - like using POV-Ray.

I'd be happy of any hint to export in higher resolution than 72 DPI in a short delay, I've an Instruction book to make ASAP :-(

Of course, count on me for a donation ;-)

I appreciate this fact you like this tool. Try this:
  1. Go to property panel / click on licreator.exe , next press ALT+ENTER /
  2. Move to 'Compatibility' tab or something named like this
  3. Enable 'Compatiblity mode' for Windows XP
  4. Use Pov-Ray for 32 bits
  5. Put response here...

Hi!

Thanks for the fast reply.

OK, I understand and set compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 3.

About "D. Use Pov-Ray for 32 bits", I'm not sure how to do this.
I guess LIC uses pvengine.exe which is 32 bits ?
Is there something else that I should set up, like an option, in POV Ray for example ?

Anyway, since I change the compatibility, LIC gives a different error, but still instantly crashes when I run Export / POV :

Does that help ?

Thank you !
