Post: RE: Lots of Missing Hair Pieces

Is anyone working on this? It's been around for a couple years and is in 20 sets, so maybe it's got a different number / description in LDraw? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?...

    Thread: LDD is dead?
Post: Re: LDD is dead?

The LDraw.org site needs a massive facelift - there are a lot of articles that haven't been updated in years. The tutorials are all MLCAD based. There's no "how to get started with LDraw" that support...

Post: Re: Slowness of LPub on Windows 7

I got it running on my Mac and it works great .. in fact I get better PDF results on the Mac with LPub than on Windows! I would expect it to be the same. I used the PDF to OpenOffice Draw plugin to lo...

I even tried it on a FAT-formatted USB-mounted disk, hoping that getting out of NTFS-land would fix it, but it still seems quite slow.

To reiterate - I downloaded the version you linked to, and ran it in My Documents instead of Dropbox, and had no major improvement in perceived speed. There might have been some improvement but if so ...

Post: LPub bug - "don't show this step" and cache

In LPub when I hide a step (e.g. after a buffer exchange there's a step with no changes that can be hidden) the subsequent steps get renumbered, and as a result the assembly images are off by one. The...

Yes, but Dropbox is asynchronous - it's a normal filesystem that Dropbox monitors for changes, not a mounted filesystem.
