Where to link for an overview of specifications - Chris Dee - 2012-07-26
The Parts Tracker has a main navigation link to LDraw Specifcations (which is currently a dead link to http://www.ldraw.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=292). On the new site I can only see leaf pages for each specification item (e.g. http://www.ldraw.org/article/218.html) even though the breadcrumb trail (Home > Documentation > File Format Standards > File Format 1.0.2) implies the existance of intermediate nodes.
Is there (or can there be) a direct link to Documentation or Official Library Standards?

The reformatted article 292 is on my disc. I still have to decide where to place it. I don't wanna break up the current linking form "documents" since a cascade doesn't work properly. I tend towards a page not linked from the main link bar but place a quick link box above the TOC on every spec page.
Thoughts?

As far as I know you can put articles in section headers (see Help->Get Started) so you could put it above the other menu items.
Or did I misunderstand something?

I really like that setup
Makes the old-style link trail alongside the menu. Thanks so much.I think it might be nice to have 'show' in the menu though. The more ways to find it the better (within reason).
