43218 - Johann Eisner - 2019-01-12
I have started to make this part.

The base part is already in the libary as 6239.dat
Whats the different between this two parts 6239 and 43218 (Except the printing).
Need we a new part (43218.dat) an alias to 6239.dat ?

But as far as I can tell here the shape part remained the same. Your patterned part should thus be named 6239p01, and if you want you can make a 43218 part alias, alias of 6239p01

I think 42318 is the designID of the print.
You should use a 6239pXX.dat number.

One more question, for sure.
I've done a little research now.
So far, there are two parts that are printed and I suspect it will be even more.
Would it make sense to move the part 6239.dat (without side surfaces) into a subpart --> 6239s01.dat . (see Attachment)
That way we could make printed parts better in the future.
