Hello folks,
it surprised me that there is practically no info here about BlockCAD created by Anders Isaksson. Especially when I discovered that the man is/was also a member on this forum (last visit many years ago).
It was the first Lego related program I did use. I know it's not directly associated with LDraw (seems like it has it's own filetype LGO, but support DAT files - I didn't test it), but there are some options that work with LDraw. I think the man did the awesome work since there is only a small installer and here you are - you can build with most of bricks. His website is still online and installer and program still works!
https://www.blockcad.net/ (although there is older version than on sites with games and software)
What are your opinions? Did you guys use BlockCAD?

The only thing I don't understand about LDraw.org is that parts are uploaded, and when you download them, the Part Designer doesn't recognize them. Why aren't these DAT files even properly completed so that they're usable?

The arch 3572 may possible match the curvatures of the sloped bricks 3573, 7249, 50950, and 24309.
We need to confirm these matches using physical parts.
Does anyone have two or more of these parts?
A. Does the curvature of 3573/7249 match the curvature of 50950/24309?
B. Does the curvature of 3573/7249 match the curvature of 3572?
C. Does the curvature of 50950/24309 match the curvature of 3572?
I know what BI data claims, but now we need physical confirmation.

Some of the border vertices in the toucan subfiles have slightly different rounding of the fourth decimal, which causes white dots to appear along the seams between subparts. The shape is free-form so there is no primitive that would cause it. It can be hard to detect, but it seems reviewers have anyway certified it.
What is the current policy? Are fourth decimal gaps allowed or not?
If allowed, what is the largest gap that can be accepted in a free-form shape?
