I'm going to post two new patterned tiles 1 x 1 which use Metallic Light Blue color.
This color is missing from LDConfig so, for now, I will submit both parts with simple Light Blue color and will modify them as soon as the new color is available.
(2021-05-21, 6:15)Willy Tschager Wrote: [ -> ]I checked BL, Ryan Howerter and Swooshable but couldn't find this color. Would you please provide some pictures?
This color has so far only been used in printed patterns. Never as a material colour on parts. That's way it can't be found on those places.
It is actually very common in printed patterns.

The new colors are:
0 !COLOUR Metallic_Light_Blue CODE 10045 VALUE #97CBD9 EDGE #333333 METAL
0 !COLOUR Opal_Trans_Dark_Blue CODE 10043 VALUE #0020A0 EDGE #000B38 ALPHA 200 LUMINANCE 5 MATERIAL GLITTER VALUE #FFFFFF FRACTION 0.8 VFRACTION 0.6 MINSIZE 0.02 MAXSIZE 0.1

I'll see if I get the color codes for the opal colors.

Magnus has rearranged some of the pearl and metallic colours while I have added the three colours requested above using the RGBs of similar colors in use.

IMHO the Metallic Light Blue (code 10045) is a metallic paint colour, not pearlescent plastic. It should be moved.

It is included in the version of ldconfig present in this thread above, but in the wrong section.

Metallic light blue will use code 10045. A corrected version should be included in the next part release.

Again?
IMHO the Metallic Pink (code 10046) is a metallic paint colour, not pearlescent plastic. It should be moved.
It should be placed after Metallic Light Blue, code 10046
Flourecent_Yellow -> Fluorescent_Yellow

Is it really? We all thought the gold on the Pharoh hat was the part color but it turned out to be a full part paint. Since the only pic I can find the the one you linked I'm not convinced.

Ok. Scratch everything I wrote above. That said, the color linked in the examples is clearly an ink, not a plastic color.

I say we might have 2 different shades of metallic pink then. And both are metallic paint, not pearlesent plastic.
and this

0 !COLOUR Metallic_Light_Pink CODE 10049 VALUE #FECCCF EDGE #333333 METAL

After a little chitchat with Ryan I added:
0 // LEGOID 368 - Vibrant Yellow
0 !COLOUR Vibrant Yellow CODE 368 VALUE #DADA00 EDGE #333333
The Hex was sampled from one of Lego's customer service part renders, so it is nor official nor very accurate.

I added the ostrich and it has Light Nougat legs and head. However the head is made of rubber.
i think we shall have this one added as well

Uploaded updated file with the two new colors to the server.

0 // LEGOID 179 - Silver Flip-flop
0 !COLOUR Flat_Silver CODE 179 VALUE #898788 EDGE #333333 PEARLESCENT
0 // LEGOID 296 / 131 / 315 - Cool Silver / Silver / Silver Metallic

Why color list lists Silver Flip-flop as Flat Silver, and Cool Silver, Silver and Silver Metallic as a single color named "Pearl Light Gray"? Lego Silver colors is a bit convoluted topic, I know it, but current listing of those colors seem to be pretty incorrect with merging 3 of silver colors, and calling one of them "Flat Silver", putting it into similar name with very different color Flat Dark Gold, more typical pearl color unlike Silver Flip-flop (which has it's own copper and gold counterparts)
(2022-03-24, 17:02)Magnus Forsberg Wrote: [ -> ]As you said, this has been discussed before and we all agree on those three being the same shade of coloured plastic.
Best illustration is in Ryan's timeline of colours here : https://www.flickr.com/photos/126975831@N07/15801189140
Okay, makes sense about timeline, but I can't agree those are same shade. There are two shades of original 131 Silver, one used by the ABS parts, and another one by parts made of softer plastic (like minifigure weapons), and first looks similar to Cool Silver, while second to Silver Metallic.
By the way wouldn't it be better to rename Flip-flop Silver into something that is not "Flat Silver"? It is a bit confusing for very unique pearl color to be named same way with the another one, that is pretty normal pearl, and also minding it's the name BL uses for Silver Metallic/some parts of 131 Silver.
Also, I think inclusion of Flip-flop Red and Flip-flop Yellow would be good.

Well BL calls Flip/Flop colors Bionicle Copper/Gold/Silver. I doubt that those sound much better.

BL doesn't have name for them actually, it just includes them in other colors (which is very normal thing for BL, it merges colors all the time). But I think just calling them Flip-flop would be enough. It's a name everyone knows if they're aware of existence of those colors
Upd. Oh wait they do now. Didn't know

Shouldn't be all the silver colors separated each, not clustered into one big messy ball of "pearl light gray"?

The colors were grouped according to Ryan's timeline :

With new colors substituting older ones.

You can always customize the LDConfig to your own needs using the values from Ryan's
