I think that all you want to do can be done with mirroring. You can either select all control points in nested mode (the first selected defining symmetry origin) then right click -> mirror. Or you can go to flex part submodel then session -> mirror this subfile (symmetry origin is submodel origin)

It doesn't seem to affect the order of path points (i.e., make the first point the last and vice vera).

This could be a relatively simple macro, I'm sure. But it would also be nice as an option in the mirror dialog, as a checkbox for "reverse path direction".
