About the part rotation center: thanks a lot for your fair answer. For now, I use groups as you suggested. I don't know to use static rotation center in practice, it always bites me, sooner or later Groups work well and they are also persistent, even trough LDCAD restart or file reload. On the other hand, the problem with groups is that they cannot be copied with this rotation center information kept. Neither Ins nor ctrl-C – ctrl-V saves this information. Is there another way to make a copy of a group with this info kept?

If you need to use groups multiple times, isn't it better to make a submodel for it?

I will look into the amount of work needed to make a 'group aware' copy function as I can't remember the core problem of why it's currently not included.
