Elements added just before saving file are NOT recorded.
Reproducing it: open new.dat in 3d editor, add a bunch of triangles/lines/primitives. Do nothing else, then save file. Resulting file only contains header.
Workaround: hit undo/redo before saving.
I was able to reproduce the bug. I will fix this asap with the release of 0.8.25.
