No, it seems to settle at 5ms minimum. And this was at the default fps of 25 for animation.

Sorry I meant ,30ms for a 25fps (40ms) frame rate.

So rendering seems to be more then sufficient, what os are you using.

The only known problems with animation timing I know of are with the (older) Linux versions.
