The 2022-03 LDraw Parts Update has been released. This update adds 563 new files to the core library, including 328 new parts and 18 new primitives

Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit.

You can preview the new parts in 2022-03 here, and download the zip-file update or Windows install package here. Alternatively you can use the LDView menu option File | Check for Library Updates... to install the update.

IMPORTANT:

A out of date and color inaccurate version of LDConfig was included with this update.

It is syntactically correct and does not affect any past colors. There are, however, few newer colors that have an inaccurate RBG values.

All downloads have been fixed. If you have already downloaded the update please download the corrected files directly:
LDConfig.ldr
LDCfgalt.ldr

If you note any errors or problems, please do not hesitate to point them out.

For LDCad users:
Please read the following notice from Roland regarding a problem with LDCad part snapping library
https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-23807-po...l#pid46149

Special thanks to Magnus Forsberg and the rest of the core reviewers. We pushed out a fix to the axl2hol primitives with this update and it wouldn't have been possible without their dedication and attention to detail.

Great to see another bunch of parts getting out! Thanks!

One question on the preview image of the Technic Panels with the Texmap Sticker, it looks like the Sticker can be seen from the back, did anyone else see this?

They look ok in LDCad.

Might be a "Z-fighting" issue as they are alias parts using a sticker.

Parts are definately ok.

Seems to be some setting in LDView, when I de-select BFC, set default colour to transparent and enable Textmap, I can see it shinig through on my PC as well, but then I also so "hidden" Geometry, due to the tansparent setting.

Is this due to the issue reported by Roland here:

I think it is, Jaco is just lucky enough those parts didn't load at the same time Smile

Using 7-zip or similar program you can fix it by deleting axl2hol8.dat from  offLibShadow.csl

I'll try to post a new offLibShadow.csl this weekend.

Ah, yes. OK. Got it.

BTW Roland, it is "dependencies" (not dependcies ;-)

Right, I read that, but didn't come across it yet until I was working on a model that had the axle hole in a part ;-)

As this was a manual operation I may have missed quite a few Wink
