LDraw.org 2020-02 Parts Update Now Available
#1
The 2020-02 LDraw Parts Update has been now been released. This adds 712 new files to the core library, including 510 new parts and 15 new primitives.

Thanks are due to all the part authors who created or corrected parts for this release. The small, but dedicated, band of reviewers also play an important role in keeping files moving through the Parts Tracker and deserve just as much credit.

You can preview the new parts in 2020-02 here, and download the zip-file update or Windows install package here. Alternatively you can use the LDView menu option File | Check for Library Updates... to install the update.

The following parts need renaming:

* 3817bp4f.dat - Minifig Leg Left with Leather Straps (Red Studs) Pattern
* 3816bp4f.dat - Minifig Leg Right with Leather Straps (Red Studs) Pattern

as the corresponding hips have been renamed to:

3815bp4f.dat - Minifig Hips with Leather Belt and Red Diamonds Pattern

* 48489.dat - Visor with Pointy Sides and Eye Slit

has to be renamed to:

48489.dat - Minifig Helmet Visor with Pointy Sides and Eye Slit

And the assembly is called:
73200p4f - Minifig Hips and Legs with Leather Armour Pattern

IMHO it doesn't matter much. I think it's not enough reason to recycle them.
The only reason I could accept is to remove the brackets and replace Studs with Diamonds.
The hips have a belt, and the legs have straps.

Updated. I think that the hips and legs assembly is fine.

While generating the PDF parts catalog for this release, I discovered that one part (30184) is in a new "Trailer" category. Since most other trailers are in the Vehicle category, I suspect that this is a mistake.
