While there are a handful of problems that the PT does auto fix (like funky UTF encoding), I generally don't like to silently auto fix errors. It may lead to unintended consequences.

We can throw an error (or warning) if there are any trailing zeros. These would all be errors (or warnings): 10.0 10.11110 10.100000 0.11100

Yes, if an official BDP produced set. BDP submissions that are not selected should go in MOCs. Also, while not required, it is preferred you post the ldr/mpd as opposed to the .io file.
