LOTR parts - Reuben Pearse - 2013-07-03 Hi everyone, A couple of parts I'm looking for: - The short cape used by the hobbits: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=lor003 - The Ringwraith cloak: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=bb568 - The Ringwraith torso: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=973pb1141 - The new style Lego horse: http://www.amazon.com/Rings-Eomer-Minifigure-Rearing-Horse/dp/B00866PD0W - The Horse Saddle with Two Clips: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4491b Can anyone help with these? Cheers Reuben ===================================== Download 3D Lego models and other resources from: http://www.pearse.co.uk/lego ===================================== Re: LOTR parts - Max Martin Richter - 2013-07-03 Hej, at least the saddle with clips is available in the official library... I will check LDD if the horse is available there. If yes, I will give it a try. (At least a simple conversion from LDD to LDraw should be possible.) I'm sorry, but it's not available at LDD. :-( /Max Re: LOTR parts - Rolf Osterthun - 2013-07-04 Hey Max, it is not my intention to correct you, but in my version of the LDD the parts for the new horse are avalable (since brickset 835): Code: 10509 - ANIMAL NO.11 ASS. Rolf Re: LOTR parts - Max Martin Richter - 2013-07-05 Thanks Rolf, I seems, that I used a wrong part number and a search with "horse" couldn't be successful, if this is called "animal no. 11" :-D Is it OK for you, if I would work a bit on this your extracts? /Max Re: LOTR parts - Rolf Osterthun - 2013-07-05 Hey Max, You're welcome :-). It was not easy to find. It is absolutely ok for me if you work with this parts. I am looking forward to the results... Rolf Re: LOTR parts - Mark Kennedy - 2013-07-17 The body and rear legs seem to use 16 segment cylinders so you may be able to get in some primitive substitution. Unfortunately the head uses a 12 segment cylinder. Re: LOTR parts - Max Martin Richter - 2013-07-17 I started with the head last week. But unfortunately there is a lack of time, due to my studies until July 24th... I'll work on it. Re: LOTR parts - Max Martin Richter - 2013-07-17 Does anyone know, how the head and the legs are connected to the body? Is the main part consisting of two separate parts or something else? Maybe with design IDs 10351 and 10353? /Max Re: LOTR parts - Magnus Forsberg - 2013-07-17 Yes, it is. There is a clear dividing line along the middle of the entire body, but the two studs and the surface below them are attached to the right body half. I can read two part number on the inside of the front legs: 10352 is the left front leg and half of the body. 10353 is the right front leg and the other half of the body. I can't see any partnumbers on the back legs, but it is very clear that the tail is attached to the left back leg. I have no idea of the inner structure. I haven't opened it. |
