L3P needs LEdit.exe - Alexander - 2013-04-25 Somebody have old version of Ldraw? L3P not working with new - it need some files deleted from new version. LDView much more bad - it can't use LGEO when converting models to POV format and have too little settings. Re: L3P needs LEdit.exe - Orion Pobursky - 2013-04-25 LDview has the ability to output POV using LGEO amongst other improvements. You might consider switch if you are able. Re: L3P needs LEdit.exe - Travis Cobbs - 2013-04-25 LDView does indeed support LGEO during POV export. (In fact, that's turned on by default.) The setting was originally intended to be generic in a way that other 3rd-party POV part libraries could be use (like Anton Raves' library), so the option is named, "Use XML mapping file". (Unfortunately, Anton Raves' library is sufficiently different in concept that it can't be made to work simply by creating a custom XML file.) As long as you don't enter a path to the XML mapping file after checking that option, it will used LDView's default XML mapping file, which is designed for LGEO. Could you tell me what settings are missing from LDView's POV export that you can't live without? I feel that it has quite a lot of settings, and have over time added settings at users' request. Also, the "Top include filename" setting is very powerful, as it allows you to specify your own POV include file that has access to all of the setting values from LDView, but can also override them.
