Lightprobes - Stan Isachenko - 2011-09-14 Hello. I need some help. I tried a lot of different HDRI lightprobes, but I can't fined that i need. 1. I need bright room lightprobe. 2. How I can config floor when I use it. I need bright shiny reflecting floor like this. When I don't use HDRi I can change it. But when I use it I can't. I turned off reflections and shadow from lightprobe, but it useless. Help me please. Can I do it without a lot of phases, in 1 phase. 2. I use PovRay 3.7, because it works much faster on my system, than megapov, so I need recommendations for clean povray. 3. If you can please send me some sources. I understand those things better when study code. Re: Lightprobes - Tim Gould - 2011-10-03 Hi Stan, You're probably going to get a quicker, better and more general answer if you ask at a POV forum. While there's plenty of us who use POVray the number who can use its trickier features will be few. Tim Re: Lightprobes - Damien Roux - 2011-10-03 You can have a look at my different render on my Brickshelf gallery, if my renders fit what you need, I can share some data. I'm using a lightprob, radiosity custom settings and I've tweaked the floor a bit. I'm using povray 3.7 as it is doing almost the same thing as megapov but with multicore rendering. I'm also improving some parts geometry by re-modeling them in high quality. Then, I render the picture 2 times, one in classic colors and one all in white to get only shadings. then, I can combine both pics in Photoshop to enhance the render and get something I find more realistic and nicer. I was also greatly inspired by Koyan tutorial. Re: Lightprobes - Stan Isachenko - 2011-10-04 Thank you. I reach some fine results, fine enough for me. I read Koyan tutorial and find it useful. I have good color definition. From this gallery.( I asked the author of those renders abot it and he sand me his colors.inc) I have normal lightprobe. Left just floor. Ok I will ask at Povray forum. |
