164 - Passenger Wagon

This is a multi-build set with instructions for 3 models.

Caboose - arguably the main model, as it's the primary cover photo on the box and instructions, and the first one listed inside the instructions

OMR compliant: No - I think (??), because of the stickers. They are texmapped, not done with LDraw geometry, and so they rely on PNG textures that are not embedded. However, I believe there is a proposal pending for a !DATA command that would allow the texture to be embedded, in which case I believe this could be made compliant. (Speaking of which, you need the PNG textures themselves; I'll attach those in a separate post.)

Known errors: None (unless you count that the window stickers on the train doors should have rounded corners!)  Tongue

Excursion Car

OMR Compliant: Yes (as far as I can tell, although MPDCenter keeps saying it's not, but all of the checks come up 'true' and if I try to OMRize it, it doesn't come up with anything to fix)
Known errors: None

Coach - the main model according to catalogs, not to mention the name of the set itself (which is really just derived from catalog entries)

OMR Compliant: No (stickers again; plus the same MPDCenter error as with the B model)
Known errors: None

Sticker parts for the Set 164 models

The set comes with more stickers than are included in the models above, so that you can choose different countries' railway companies and destinations. I created them all, and they're all zipped together here (11 DAT files):

.zip   004757.zip (Size: 8.65 KB / Downloads: 8)

And you need these PNG files alongside them:

.zip   textures.zip (Size: 393.82 KB / Downloads: 10)

Note that these sticker parts won't work in Studio. For the photoreal renders, I had to create different versions of the sticker parts using Part Designer, but it's easy to do (and you can use the same PNG files).

Some of these stickers are available in 191915* sticker sheet.
What about putting the others on Parts tracker?

Thought of that, but are texmapped parts OK on the tracker? How does it handle the PNG files? (EDIT: Or I could just read about it myself…)  Wink

(Thanks for the hints on 191915…I'd found the 'DB' ones but didn't notice the destination stickers. Looks like the dimensions are a little different, though of course they could be scaled.)
