Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Bertrand Lequy - 2026-01-02 Hello, I have to deal with this part on Rebrickable, and I have a problem. On BL and here, the part is called : [...]with Dark Tan Crescent Pattern, whereas its called [...]with Reddish Brown Crescent Print. At first I thaught there was 2 different parts, one tan and one brown and that I encountered a mapping issue. But this part seems to have been used in one set only. and the picture on BL show a reddish brow cressent and not a dark tan one, like the LEGO element render. https://rebrickable.com/parts/2654pr0003/plate-round-2-x-2-with-rounded-bottom-with-reddish-brown-crescent-print/ https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2654pb015 https://library.ldraw.org/parts/24301 Is it because dark tan printed on black looks like reddish brown ? Or Is there an error somewhere ? RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Chris Böhnke - 2026-01-03 Looks a bit off indeed... Anyone who has the real part? I am also a bit sceptical about the thin black outline - looks more like some sort of primer shining through than part of the actual print. EDIT: Comparing it with this: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2654pb032&name=Plate,%20Round%202%20x%202%20with%20Rounded%20Bottom%20(Boat%20Stud)%20with%20Reddish%20Brown%20Eye%20with%20White%20Circle%20Pattern%20(SW%20Ewok%20Eye)&category=%5BPlate,%20Round,%20Decorated%5D#T=C&C=11 I think it actually is Dark Brown rather than Reddish Brown or Dark Tan. RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Hageta - 2026-01-03 The part is from this set: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=75318-1#T=I For me it looks more like dark brown than dark tan. RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Gerald Lasser - 2026-01-03 Here are pictures of mine: This is the image form the BI, looks more Reddisch Brown to me, did not have it at the time I made it. RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Bertrand Lequy - 2026-01-03 Thank you everybody. What's next ? Should Gerald go through the part tracker process again ? RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Chris Böhnke - 2026-01-03 BI Image is a perfect match for Dark Brown: RE: Official File parts/2654bps1.dat : color issue - Magnus Forsberg - 2026-01-03 (2026-01-03, 16:31)Bertrand Lequy Wrote: Thank you everybody. I don't remember having fixed an official part before, so is my new header correct ?
